16M Classic Aston Martin DB4 GT

In 1962 Milan based Ugo Zagato – a company that builds coaches and designs various parts were taken onboard by Aston Martin to create a very small run of exclusive models known as the DB4 GT’s. This build was a high performance car, light and very hardy.  At the time this was one of the fastest cars on the road.

Now it seems that this classic sports car is set to go under the hammer and is expected to go for around $16 million!

Sounds like a pretty sweet investment for whoever is selling it! We can’t quite get over the price tag of $16 million for an Aston Martin though! It’s a classic there’s no argument about that and it takes you back to an era when life was sweet with a greater sense of freedom. However, we can’t help thinking that for $16 million you could treat yourself to a Bugatti Veyron, a Koenigsegg Regera, a Lamborghini Aventador, a McLaren P1, a Pagani Huayra, a Porsche 918 Spyder and a Rolls Royce and have a different car for every day of the week AND have plenty of change left over! The buyer must be a real Aston Martin fan we gather and fair play to him. He must feel like a kid who just got a shiny new train set at Christmas!
