Alien Covenant is the sequel to the 2012 film Prometheus and is directed by Ridley Scott.
The storyline follows the crew of the Covenant who are voyaging to a distant planet far across the galaxy to what they believe is to be a hidden Utopia. However not all is as it seems and they soon find themselves in peril and are attacked by hostile creatures. The planet is also inhabited by David, the man-made artificially intelligent being from Prometheus.
Here at Men Stuff Approved we much preferred the old classic alien films starring Sigourney Weaver as opposed to the newer movie Prometheus. However the latest trailer does look appealing and it’s filmed with a dark and sinister mood that leads us to believe that will we be biting our nails throughout this latest instalment. Also Ridley seems to have casted well with Michael Fassbender and Katherine Waterston.
The opening scene of the trailer sets the standard and leads the feeling of imminent danger – watch it and enjoy!
