Call of Duty: WWII isn’t happening on the Nintendo Switch

If you were looking forward to playing the latest Call of Duty on the go, we have some bad news for you; Call of Duty: WWII will not be making its way onto the Switch, despite previous rumours.

Speaking at E3, Bret Robbins, the Senior Creative Director, confirmed there were currently no plans for the series on Nintendo’s newest console. This doesn’t appear to completely shut the door on a Call of Duty/Switch party, though it doesn’t look like it will be any time soon, despite rumours of Activision owned studio Beenox developing it’s own Call of Duty for the Switch.

In other news, the game will be getting two Private Beta periods, the first of which will be for PlayStation 4 only, running from August 25th to August 28th. The second Beta will also include Xbox One players, running from September 1st to September 4th. Only players who have pre-ordered the game will be invited to participate in these. The full release for the game is due on November 3rd.

Have you pre-ordered yet?
