Citroen are currently working on a concept for a new rally car – meet the Citroen C3 WRC.
With high hopes of taking on rivals the Peugeot 209 and the Ford Fiesta ST, this WRC is an example of what the C3 hatchback could look like if given a total makeover.
The WRC is both wider and longer than your standard C3 and it would pump out 380bhp from it’s 1.6 litre turbocharged engine.
It weighs in at 1175kg resulting in a much lighter weight car than it’s predecessors.
We’re loving the sample photo’s released which give us a taste of what the WRC may look like. It’s cool, its snazzy, and with its red body and day glow stripes it looks like a beetle on speed!
