At MenStuff Lamborghini is probably one of our most favourite manufacturers, so we are excited to bring you the The Aventador SV LP750-4 SV Roadster! This is the fourth Superveloce ever created and this LP750-4 features a 6.5 litre engine which revs up to 8500rpm. The SV is also 50kg lighter than the traditional Aventador. This is down to it’s carbon fibre panels and it’s stripped out interior. The LP750-4 is a much more minimalist creation that is not weighed down by endless unnecessary gadgets, buttons and levers and we kind of love this level of simplicity it offers. With this stripped down version, you can easily achieve 0 – 62mph in just 2.8 and it’s top speed 217 MPH on the track. Apparently “’Ring time is on a par with the Coupe’s astonishing sub-seven minute marker!” Impressive stuff! Suddenly we are understanding the £350,000 price tag!
The SV is not quite in it’s element when encountering steep hills, many liken it to a huge beast heaving itself up a mountain, although of course it is more than capable. Perhaps it’s just that the SV is at it’s best on longer runs when you can really feel the force of the extra accelleration and feel the force of it’s extra thrust! This is a car that shows off it’s real talents on the open road rather than being confined to busy roads. A run in this creation with the roof down on a clear road would be perfection. Cruising along in seventh gear in the SV is simply magnificent and it offers a smooth ride.
This Lambo is probably not the most discrete, it’s 5 pipe exhaust will create a great deal of noise on the smaller roads and create a good deal of attention. But then who doesn’t want to show off their new Lambo?! More importantly, it masters rough terrain superbly. It seems to encapsulate you in a safe haven of carbon as you tackle the tougher roads. We’re a big fan of the LP750-4 and whilst it might not be your first choice for a run to your local corner shop, this car has extraordinary capabilities.
