The Admiral General Aladeen appears on the Aussie ‘Today’ Show.
Sacha Baron Cohen is genius and this interview with him in role as the tyrant from the movie Dictator is hilariously awkward!
Cohen is fast with his sharp and witty responses and as he makes innuendo’s, comments on his sexual activities and the presenters you could hear a pin drop between the awkward and nervous giggles from the presenters. The first half is particularly awkward as the three look totally lost for words. You can see a growing uncomfortableness as they wonder where this is going and if it is going to land them in hot water! Cohen being a master of communication and entertainment however reels them back in and manages to get them onside with more wisecracks. Eventually they seem to get the hang of it and joke along with him…even questioning if they have a choice in being kidnapped! He then questions their sanity in allowing him on a morning breakfast show and suggests that they assassinate the producer!
Cohen stays in role the whole time and doesn’t miss a beat. If you have yet to see the movie ‘The Dictator’ which he is plugging in this video, go and check it out. The satirical movie is entertaining with cleverly crafted political statements and will have you laughing out loud. Even if you are not into political humour it’s still funny, with pure lunacy! It’s a definite must see!
