What Is Faster Than A McLaren P1 GLT? Say Hello To The BAC Mono

posted in: Car News | 0

If you are looking for a Formula quality road car that could handle the sexy curves of Anglesey Circuit at 150 mph then you would assume that the twin-turbo V8 McLaren P1 GLT would fit the bill, however with the hardcore carbon fibre body causing 1455 lbs of downforce at 150 mph and the car weighing in at around 3300 lbs you’re just not going to reach those speeds.

However, look to the lightweight BAC Mono  with its 2,5 litre Mountune engine hidden under the carbon fibre body, Kumho tires and 300 HP and you could be onto a winner. Coming in 1 second faster than the McLaren and a massive 2.7 seconds quicker than the Radical RXC Turbo 500.

This exclusive track car , nicknamed by the Briggs Automotive Company as a “Formula Car for the road” weighs in at a mere 1278 lbs and combines the best in track and road manufacture to give you the drive of your life!
