In the ongoing quest for faster cars Lotus new model the 250 Cup is a lighter edition with greater power.
They’ve stripped this one down losing 21kg in the process and given it a super powered 1.8 litre Toyota engine, like in the 4Runner (check Toyota 4Runner for sale and deals). This boosts the 250 Cup with an almighty 234BHP and an accelleration of 0 – 60MPH in only 3.9 seconds. This makes it the speediest road Elise with a top speed of 154MPH.
This super fast roadster has excellent handling for the track and whole host of new features such as ultralight alloys. This is a limited edition with 200 vehicles being produced per year.
It’s pretty stylish and easy on the eye, if we had to use one adjective we’d go for – cute! Actually our resident chick called it cute whilst we all rolled our eyes with disdain, but in fact it’s not a bad way to describe it if we are being honest. It’s this mighty powerful engine inside a lightweight body of cuteness, even down to it’s almond shape eyes that look like they are beckoning you suggestively.
