Ferrari Unveils Exclusive Blue Livery for Miami Grand Prix

This weekend in Miami, keep an eye out for a Ferrari like you’ve never seen before. Sporting a unique blend of blue accents against its iconic red backdrop, Ferrari has unveiled a striking one-off livery set to grace the track at the Miami Grand Prix.

This special design marks Ferrari’s commemoration of 70 years in the North American market, coinciding with their new title sponsorship deal with HP.

The livery features two distinct shades of blue – Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino – adorning the cars of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz for the race weekend. Ferrari proudly notes that these hues were once a common sight in Maranello, having been absent from the scene for nearly half a century.

The blue accents will be prominently displayed on various parts of the car, including the wings, engine cover, halo, rear-view mirrors, race numbers, and even the wheel rims. This choice pays homage to Ferrari’s heritage, reminiscent of design elements seen on their cars from the 1960s, including the legendary 158 F1, which carried John Surtees to championship victory in 1964.

Team principal Frederic Vasseur expressed excitement about the upcoming Miami Grand Prix, emphasizing the significance of celebrating Ferrari’s legacy with this unique livery. He also welcomed the introduction of their new title partner, HP, making this race even more special for the team.

Ferrari heads into the race weekend on a high note, following Carlos Sainz’s impressive race win earlier in the year in Australia. While the previous event in China posed challenges for the team, failing to secure a top-three finish for the first time this season, they remain determined and poised for success in Miami.
