Autonomous cars is a current trend that we don’t see disappearing anytime soon. In fact, this theme is only like to become bigger in the future of cars which is goods for mankind! Inline with this current technological fashion, Formula E bosses revealed that a support series is being organised for the electric championship and will focus on…you guessed it – autonomous cars. Reactions were mixed but we’re pretty excited about this here at Mens Stuff.
Finally, fans have been allowed a peek into what the Roboracers may look like.
Tron Legacy’s Chief designer Daniel Simon has been working his special magic on the bodywork and has sought to create a futuristic design. It’s a design that aims to lend significant downforce with less clutter.
The series will start this year and will involve ten teams each with two cars. The software for each car will differ for each team and races will last for an hour and compete at ePrix events.
