Guardians is a Russian superhero movie set to hit the box offices in 2017.
The film follows a group of soviet superhero soldiers who were constructed in the Cold War by mutating their DNA. Each super hero possess different skills and talents which range from shape shifting to abilities in advanced swordsmanship and mastery of weapons.
The trailer opens with Khan, master of all blades in a battle against evil doers who fire machine guns with total abandon. Here we see the extent of Khans power and skills as he dodges bullets and cuts a car and its passenger cleanly in two with his samurai sword. With an opening like this to set the standard we predict that this is set to be one of the most compelling, white knuckle action flicks of 2017. At Mens Stuff we love a good superhero movie, but we do feel that most films of this genre are a tad ‘fluffy’. It’s great to see something a bit darker, more violent, more gripping and with sinister super hero’s that have real depth. Nothing annoys us more than a ‘goody two-shoes’ superhero that tries to save the villains life as he hangs off the edge of a skyscraper! You know the drill, the hero’s conscience pricks at him, he tries to save the enemy, the enemy then tries to pull the hero to his death but instead slips and hurtles towards the ground in a dramatic end. Well, you can expect no such fluff in this action flick! These superheroes mean business. They have been created for deadly missions and they take no survivors. If a bad guy crosses them they will happily cut through everything in their path to seek justice and bring down evil. Our kind of film. We are very excited about this one!
