The Skreemr Luxury Concept plane ponders London to New York in just 30 Minutes!
The Ipad-Skreemr-4 is a luxury concept aircraft that holds up to 75 passengers and in theory would travel at 7672MPH. In case you were wondering that’s almost six times faster than a Concorde!
The Skreemr’s high speed capabilities are courtesy of a magnetic rail gun launch system which is designed to realise supersonic speed and with little G force. Designers Ray Mattison and Charles Bombardier designed the craft to employ the magnetic rail gun system and hydrogen rockets to be launched into the sky at super sonic speed. Hypothetically, it would be capable of flying at altitudes of between 40,000 and 60,000 feet which is far beyond the capabilities of your average jet.
Whilst this jet currently remains a concept, the designers are globally recognised as pioneers and have invested into many successful new technologies that are beginning to earn recognition. Here are MensStuffApproved we suggest that it would not be totally ludicrous to see this concept one day become a reality. It might sound like something out of a sci-fi novel, but the science and engineering has been thoroughly researched and we believe that this is the future.
