Jewel In The Ocean Asia

Travel company Six Senses have revealed their latest increments in two of South Asia’s  most magnificent resorts.

Chase away your wintery gloom with some well deserved time out in these heavenly locations.

Take a peek at Vietnam’s Ninh Van Bay. Vietnam so far remains unspoilt and is lesser travelled than some of the more populated holiday resorts seen in High Street brochures.  This resort gives the feeling of escaping to a remote paradise island. Set on a hillside guests will be blown away by the 180′ degree views of the stunning bay which is totally off the beaten track.

The villa sleeps ten and is pretty roomy with 7825 ft of space and is set deep inside the jungle so you certainly don’t need to worry about neighbours knocking on your door and asking if you have a spare map of the area! You can lounge at your leisure in complete privacy in the infinity pool and you’ll be delighted to learn that included in the package is an in house chef and a wine cellar with over 30 types of vintage on tap for guests to get sozzled on.
Or you may prefer to take a vacation on the Indonesian Island of Sumba where you can enjoy a back to routes stay in a rustic treehouse that sleeps six people. You can wake up each morning with the sun filtering through the trees watching the dappled light dance upon your face and enjoy looking out to silvery white sands and huge trees as far as the eye can see. Sounds like heaven doesn’t it!  This is not just any treehouse however that you may see in a suburban backyard. The treehouse is embellished with touches of luxury with a bamboo bridge that you can take to cross over into the main building. This has it’s very own private pool, living area and balcony.

Expect to pay $42,000 for a week including meals and for the Hilltop reserve in Vietnam $4570 per night.

Time to get saving up!
