The latest Wolverine movie takes us into the future into a world where a female clone of Wolverine has been created. Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Wolverine Hugh Jackman) are on a mission to protect the clone from a dark and sinister organisation. Wolverine aka Logan is ageing fast and his healing abilities are diminishing. His past battles re catching up with him finally, his health is declining and he suffers from chronic pain which he alleviates by self medicating. Will he still able to save the day and prevent evil from consuming all that is good?
It’s great to see Hugh Jackman back playing Wolverine again, a character that is heroic yet dark, brooding and tortured by his past and all the evil that he has seen.
Wolverine has always been one of our favourite X-Men and his character is certainly compelling enough for another stand alone movie. Jackman invited input from the fans on this creation and we fear it may be the last we see of him in this role, so no doubt Marvel will go all out to give him the most triumphant and spectacular send off!
It’s set to be a real blinder – don’t miss this one!
