The London Eye is a spectacular site to behold and one of the worlds highest ferris wheels. Around 1000 visitors per day flock to South Bank to take a ride and enjoy the amazing views of London, our beautiful city.
In 2009 Kay Elliott and Craig Sciba or Merlin Studio’s designed a 4D experience for visitors to enjoy prior to the ride which intensifies the whole experience and makes it even more of a tourist attraction. Now the London Eye sees 3.5 million visitors per year!
There are many kinds of tempting packages available at The London Eye. You can enjoy the 4D experience, a couples or group package or even a champagne or day and night experience. Our favourite is the wine and champagne tasting experience in which you can enjoy the journey whilst being accompanied by a team of experts that you will talk you through various wines or champagnes as you enjoy savouring each and every taste. Steady now, downing 5 full glasses is likely to make you see double and whilst that might sound like twice the fun you probably won’t remember the trip!
If you are a chocolate lover then you won’t want to miss out on ‘The Hot Chocolate Tasting Experience’ Feast on decadent truffles and morsels of chocolate, savour a cold glass of Prosecco and take advantage of the 4D experience, two rotations. Plus you get to take home a free bag of Hot Chocolate goodies. It’s every chocolate fiends dream!
The Eye Bar experience is also pretty noteworthy. You can relax in the magnificent Eye Bar with a drink of your choice, reap all the benefits of the champagne and chocolate experience and indulge in a delicious glass of champers whilst breathing in the 360 degrees of London in all it’s glory!
Whilst we might have made it sound a little like a trip of gluttony and indulgence there are of course packages which feature on The Eye itself with guided tours and commentary! So, there really is something for everyone. Take your children, take your granny…but just watch her with the Champagne or she’ll be giggling all the way home!
