The Lotus 380 has popped up on our radar! This sexy ride carries influence from the Exige Sport 350 but has an additional 30bhp with it’s V6 pumping out 375bhp and is a lot lighter.
It’s got a big carbon wing taken from the Elise Cup and extended front splitter and wider tyres, all in all quite heavy but then Lotus have shaved off 10kg by using mega lightweight wheels. Plus the seats are carbon, the exhaust titanium and the brakes are much lighter too, resulting in a total weight of 1,076 kg.
The Lotus is super smooth and comfortable to drive and it doesn’t compromise when it comes to speed reaching 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. It has a hair raising top speed of 178mph. The Exige comes into it’s own when it’s on the track and you can reach those top speeds and enjoy testing the precision breaks. It’s a great everyday runner though too.
