UFC is big news at the moment and right at the forefront is Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor. He has quickly risen up the ladder and even competed against a middleweight champion Nate Diaz and triumphed! He has rapidly became the name on everybody’s lips. Before McGregor, MMA was not particularly considered mainstream.
We don’t just love McGregor because he is a champion – it’s his fighting spirit that gets us. He goes into the ring with an air of confidence and a cocky can do attitude that is inspirational. He is the perfect example of the notion that anything is possible if you believe in yourself enough. This is a guy who moved up two weight divisions and can take on the world. He is not afraid to take a risk to achieve his dreams.
The MMA fighter indulges the audience with showboating at every opportunity and what we can only imagine are mock verbal threats and intimidation. After all – what an entertaining spectacle it makes for the audience!
McGregor stated to his fans in a press conference:
“ To the fans! Never ever shy away from challenges. Never run from adversity. Face yourself head on. Nate I will see you again.”
This message can apply to any aspect of life and business and he speaks words of wisdom. He urges society to give their your best shot and reach for the stars.
Even after losing a fight this indomitable character fed us the message that it doesn’t matter if you lose – just keep going until you success! He lacks inhibitions and is not held back by fear.
