McLaren And Honda

Here’s a collaboration we didn’t expect to see. F1 race team McLaren-Honda joins forces with exclusive maker of watches Richard Millie for a ten year partnership.

The brand entered the world of watchmaking in 2001 and were fast to establish themselves as chief game players early on and always at the frontier of cutting edge of design and technology.

McLaren celebrates it’s 50th anniversary in Formula 1 this 2016 and will be working hard to repeat it’s former glories after it’s lack of success last season.

McLaren’s CEO stated: The two brands share a distinct common DNA: a passion for design, technology and aesthetics, and I’m excited about the great work we can achieve together over the next 10 years.”

Racing drivers Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button will be ambassadors for the brand and will be wearing the brand new watches. The McLaren-Honda MP4-31 will also be carrying the brand.

Lets hope that this stirs up enough morale amongst the team to spur them on for the 2016-17 F1 Season!
