Mercedes has made a real splash in the nautical world recently having just unveiled their newest luxurious yacht named the Arrow460-Granturismo. Mind you this isn’t exactly a startling discovery. Going back a few years Mercedes made waves when they made the most powerful electric powerboat in the world. Once they conquered speed, they embarked on a voyage to build a yacht that is ostentatious and the epitome of luxury.
The 14 metre vessel is powered by 947bhp and holds ten people. The Arrow is very adaptable and becomes a cabin cruiser when the sun sinks behind the horizon and is very easy to modify.
The interior is quite dazzling and has been decked out by Mercedes Style. With it’s wood panels, huge windows and pop out beds it’s very easy on the eye as well as very efficient in terms of space. Of course, you’ll appreciate the air con when you are sailing off to more exotic climes but our absolute favourite feature is the ice making machines and onboard wine cellar. Tequila Sunrise anyone?
The Arrow has a top speed of 46mph, but 35 makes for pretty smooth cruising. The price has yet to be revealed but we can presume it will cost more than a few mortgages. Now we are just wondering how we can stow away and get to enjoy this incredible vessel. Room for one more?
