The designer of the Lykan hypersport, Anthony Jannarelly has created a new model which is comes with a more appealing price tag and a more nostalgic feel. The Jannarelly Design-1 is a four wheel drive which takes inspiration from the Ferrari Testarossa.
It’s predecessor featured in the ultimate hyper car racing movie ‘Fast and Furious’ and with snazzy designs like these and incredible power we can see that it was a perfect choice for the film.
The Jannarelly has a wonderful 1960’s feel to it and Austin Powers wouldn’t look out of place in the driving seat with a beautiful woman or three on his arm. Having said this, it’s a car that will make anyone feel special when sitting in the driving seat. This isn’t just a car for super hero’s and villains. It’s a car for someone of exquisite taste and style, for someone who appreciates classic beauty in a car. It’s pretty light too at only 700kg but certainly sturdy enough.
Anthony Jannarelly teamed up with his pal Frederic Juilot who is an expert in boat building. Juilot applied his knowledge of customising boats and employed use of carbon fibre on the interior and on other light components. The interior is very minimalist, but we kind of love this stark simplicity and it really works to showcase the beautiful little touches such as the racing car style sets with are padded at the top with lemon yellow leather.
This baby will set you back 40k and is set to go on sale later on in the year.
