The first event of the year starts today for Pokemon GO, running for the next 6 days to celebrate Valentines Day. The rewards of the event give you twice as much candy as normal for every Pokemon you catch, hatch or transfer. If that wasn’t enough, lure modules will be 12 times more effective than before, lasting up to 6 hours, rather than the usual 30 minutes.
Additionally, any Pokemon that’s described as “adorable” and “pink” will show up twice as often, including favourites such as Chansey and Clefable. If you’re also after Cleffa, Igglypuff or Smoochum, then you’re in luck, as they will be more likely to hatch from an egg during the event.
