Influenced by the 4 cylinder 818 of the early 1960’s Porsche’s latest Boxster has been given a complete makeover. This latest addition features 4 cylinders and 2.0 litres (or 2.5 litres in the S version). The standard has 296 BHP and the S an astounding 345 BHP! The new Boxster is 8 seconds faster than it’s predecessor and can reach 0 – 62 MPH in a mere 4.7 seconds! The S is marginally faster reaching it’s top speed in 4.2 seconds.
It is set to debut this spring at The Geneva Motor show and it’s expected to sell out spectacularly fast so make sure you don’t miss out if your heart is set on nabbing yourself one of these.
This Spider is a pretty handsome specimen and looks pretty robust. It’s a great runabout for cruising round the city on a sunny day or a balmy evening. It’s design is clean, neat and beautifully formed.
You can expect to pay £41,739 for the standard edition or £50,695 for the S. You’ll have to be quick though!
