Renault unveils the latest F1 car this year!
Renault Sport exhibits the new RS16 for Formula One which is set to be driven by F1’s Jolyon Palmer, and Dane Magnussen.
News has it that the previous sponsors were unable to pay the sponsorship on time, effectively breaching their contracts. This culminated in Renault having no choice but to drop Maldano after two years of business.
Frederic Vasseur, former boss at ART Grand Prix is now chief of the teams racing practises. This is the fella that mentored the likes of Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and various other F1 racers as they rose to championship in the GP2!
It seems he’ll be reporting to managing Director Cyril Abiteboul who has faced a tough couple of years which saw his very public spat with owner of Red Bull Dietrich Mateschitz!
