Rural France Villa René Lalique

Villa René Lalique is the epitome of stunning beauty. Based in the french countryside, the villa takes gourmet dining to a whole new level.

Commissioned by a former jeweller and glass maker René-Jules Lalique who was seen as a great leader in the design of Art Deco glass, Lalique added his artistic flair and expertise for embellishing, which gave the villa it’s elegant and charming design.

In 2016 the villa underwent a renovation and was transformed into a luxury hotel, with a vested interest in culinary science. Villa René Lalique was listed on Luxury Travel Intelligence’s Best New Luxury Hotels of 2015 in fourth place which is quite the accomplishment in the world of leisure and gastronomy.

It has just 6 suites which pay home to Lalique’s original designs. The suites are superbly sumptuous and clearly the work of a master designer.

Food lovers will be blown away by the in house restaurant which is home to chef Jean-Georges Klein who conjures up an eclectic mix of gastronomical delights and french cuisine. Klein’s menu extends to ten inspired courses with one of the most popular dishes being a sweet and succulent venison dish.

The wine cellar is certainly a place you will want to experience. You’ll be joined by head sommelier Romain Iltis who will talk you through the wines and teach you how to choose flavours. You may not get to sample every single wine as the collection spans to 20,000 regional and international wines, although you can certainly have fun trying! You really won’t want to ruin your appetite though as Villa René Lalique is renowned for it’s mouth watering dishes that will leave every essence of your being sated.

Enjoy the divine pleasures of beautiful art, celebrated wines and finest food in the region at this magnificent location.
