Singapore’s Electric Hypercar

Following the success of Vanda Electrics e-scooter and 25mph electric vehicle, the company have revealed that they plan to build a two seater electric hypercar. This will be Singapore’s first ever electric hypercar, with a little assistance from Williams Advanced Engineering.

As technical partner,  Williams will build the concept and oversee future projects. Few other details have been revealed yet but the alliance speak of a “marriage of design and technology”. Exciting times!

The teaser photo reveals an ergonomic design which aesthetically is a delight.  We’re told that the components will be ‘high tech’ and will use an advanced powertrain.  Both the roof and doors will be automatic and will open in the manner of a dendrobium flower.  This promises to be eco and economically friendly, and a work of art as well as a mode of transportation!

The interior will be furnished by Bridge of Weir Leather Company using cow hide.

Head on down to the Geneva Motorshow in March to see the full design.
