Sony have booked a lot of floor space for E3 2017

Sony has booked an incredible amount of floor space for this years E3 convention, precisely three blocks, which totals 37,500 square feet. Preliminary plans for the event have been posted online, and although they are subject to change, it means PlayStation will be leading the way on floor space compared to its rivals. Nintendo are not far behind, at 32,000 square feet, however Xbox currently have just 15,000 square feet of floor space.

So what does this mean for the event? PlayStation will likely be using the extra space for VR demos, and there is a possibility that Xbox may hold it’s own event away from the main convention centre, given the decision to do their press conference on the Sunday before E3 kicks off.  Whatever the outcome is, it looks set to be a pretty amazing event. Hopefully we get to see Porject Scorpio, and more from Days Gone and Detroit: Become Human. Oh and there’s always that little bit of hope that Kingdom Hearts 3 gets confirmed…that would make a spectacular E3 show!

What are you hoping to see at E3 2017?
