Are you desperately waiting for Porsche to launch the GT4 version of the new Cayman, then wait no more as TechArt have delivered something quite striking that you might just want more.
Now if you are a Porsche aficionado then you know all about TechArt, if you don’t, then here is a little background:
They aim to turn something that is extraordinary into something unique for their clients. TECHART is the international premium brand for the individualisation of any Porsche model.
Their latest offering on the Cayman is a subtle tasteful improvement on the existing car.
The 718 Cayman can be equipped with a constant larger rear spoiler II. To wing of the rear spoiler II rests on black anodised aluminium uprights. As an option, the wing is also available in carbon fibre.
The TECHART carbon parts, made in TECHART’s in-house carbon fibre shop, can be ordered in matt or in glossy surface finish.
The 718 Cayman 2.5-letre 4-cylinder engine has been taking some criticism so TechArt have looked at this not just the exterior styling. they have increased performance to 395 BHP and 354lb ft that is 55bhp and 44lb ft more than the standard car. Translated this slices 0.7 seconds from the 0-62mh time to 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 184 mph.
The noise is better too, with a carbon tipped titanium exhaust, punching out a more raspy noise to go with its subtle angrier looks
The TechArt Cayman sits on weight optimised 21-inch TECHART Formula IV alloy wheels with a dynamic twin-spoke design
TechArt will give you as many features and options inside setting no limits to real individuality and exclusiveness. The interior program is completed by details such as colour matched instrument dials, aluminium sport pedals, illuminated personalised door entry guards and much more.
What do you think?
Would you buy from a styling house like this or wait and go direct to Porsche? Do you want to be really different or stay a little more conventional?
