Tarzan returns to our screens 1st July in a new version of the film classic. It’s se to be shinier, faster and even more epic!
The plot begins in London where Tarzan Played by True Bloods Alexander Skarsgård lives with his wife. Now it has been requested by the House Of Commons that he return to assist as a trade emissary. He doesn’t realise that he has been lured into a potentially lethal situation and is being used by the government in a game of greed and corruption.
Samuel L Jackson also appears in this movie so we would expect with two fantastic actors on board this should be a real blinder! The CGI looks extremely convincing and we love the beautiful aerial views across the jungle. Tarzan promises to be a film which is aesthetically pleasing and with a good premise.
Alexander Skarsgard played a primal role before as a vampire in True Blood and it’s a role that really suits him so we can totally envisage him in the jungle, being at one with his surroundings and the beasts. Here at Mens Stuff we think he really is an excellent choice for the role of Tarzan, who has been tamed a little by London life but still possess a raw, animalistic force deep down inside.
This is another one that we really can’t wait for!
