Held captive on a distant planet Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is forced to compete against other gladiators in battles to the death. In a sudden twist of events Thor finds himself face to face in the ring with fellow Avenger The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
Thor is in a race against the clock to escape his imprisonment and prevent his nemesis Hela (cate Blanchett) from destroying Asgard.
This new instalment of Thor has been laced with humour. It seems Marvel Studio’s wanted to show Hemsworth’s talent for comedy.
The trailer reveals a showdown between Thor and The Hulk which here at Mens Stuff we find quite baffling. In previous Thor movies we were led to believe that Thor’s hammer gives him strength, so how can he possibly expect to defeat the Hulk without it? The Hulk is twice as big and 3 times as wide. Surely Thor will be crushed like a fly? We suppose all will be revealed in November when the film hits the cinemas.
