THQ is back as THQ Nordic with 13 unannounced developments

Since buying the THQ brand and acquiring many their intellectual properties including Red Faction, Darksiders, Destroy all Humans! & MX vs ATV, following their demise to banruptcy, Nordic Games has decided to rebrand itself to THQ Nordic, in a move that “represents a core approach of doing more than owning a highly competitive portfolio” according to the company.

THQ Nordic currently has 23 projects in development, 13 of which are unannounced. It recently announced Darksiders 2 would be getting a remaster, and Darksiders Warmastered Edition is due to release on October 25th this year. Could Darksiders 3 be one of the 13 unannounced games? We hope so, although the game we are most looking forward to is a first person Red Faction, or a proper follow up to Red Faction Guerrilla, so we can forget the poor attempt that was Armageddon.

According to a press release “majority of these projects are based on former THQ owned IPs and franchises”, so there is a very good chance we should see some of these materialise soon. What was your favourite THQ game, and which are you most looking forward to seeing again?
