Many makers of British sports cars are coming to Wales to build new cars and TVR has recently revealed that they will also be joining the list and producing their cars in lovely Wales.
The new TVR will be produced in Ebbw Vale and the Welsh government will be assisting financially. In fact they will be contributing a hefty £30million in the hope that a new sports car manufacturer will draw in additional business and tourists, which will no doubt help to create more jobs.
There has been speculation that TVR’s move to Wales has been influenced by the new race track being built in Wales. The Circuit of Wales will be built on a 830 acre plot. Included will be tracks for driver training and tech centres for motor business. It’s a one stop shop for all motoring enthusiasts!
TVR will be 70 years old in 2017 and they will be celebrating their birthday with the launch of a brand new model which will be a British sports car with a massive engine and four wheel drive. We are very excited for the unveiling of the newest car next year as here at Mens Stuff we have always been big fans of TVR. We are sure the Welsh will also be celebrating TVR’s move to Wales and the increase in jobs that will be come available. Watch this space!
