This concept for the Opel and Vauxhall is showcased at March’s Geneva Motor show. It’s design is unique and contoured to make it more aerodynamic and whilst it looks like it’s been slightly squashed in at the sides, this lends the car much more acceleration and speed with 145bhp. It features a low bonnet and a 1.0 3 cylinder turbo engine.
From afar the windows appear to have been covered in a nylon mesh leading us to think for just a moment that the designers have some rather kinky influences, but in actual fact the coating is a reflective foil and from the inside as clear as crystal so vision is not affected.
The glass roof gives the car a spacious and light feel and is perfect for a sunny day. The unusual tyre design apparently was inspired by roller skate wheels which we love here at MensStuff!
It’s definitely a quirky and unusual concept car and we give Opal and Vauxhall 10 out 10 for originality. We would love to test drive this baby and see how well it handles on the road. Check out the images and leave us a comment with your thoughts.
