Visit Las Vegas

Vegas was one seen as a tacky tourist destination where holiday makers would visit for drunken benders and gambling. It would summon up images of youngsters drinking and vomiting in the gutter, hammering the slot machines, losing their life savings on the roulette table in the big Casino’s and being accosted by street walkers that look like men in drag.

This picture could not be further from the truth nowadays and Las Vegas has become a whole lot more sophisticated.  You can probably still find a seedy motel if you look hard enough and we’re sure that the bars of vegas are not short of Elvis impersonators, however now you will find the state has undergone a huge make over and you are just as likely to find elite bars and clubs, gourmet restaurants and luxury spas.

Las Vegas is no longer just a drunken get away for the lads. It’s ideal for couples in search of a romantic holiday.

The Venetian hotel is quite exquisite and features everything from ebony pyramids to beautiful fairytale castles. The hotel pays homage to the city of Venice which inspired it’s design. Guests can take advantage of the in house casino without having to even have to hit the streets to find somewhere to enjoy a little flutter. What makes this venue so wonderfully unique however is the canals and gondola rides making this a place of magic and romance.

The restaurant is home to over 20 restaurants with many a celebrity chef creating the menu’s. In Vegas they don’t do things by halves. This is sheer indulgence at it’s finest.  There’s a buzzing nightclub, theatre and even a wax museum! After all that feasting and exploring you are probably going to be in need of some serious TLC so a visit to the in house spa is just the ticket to unwind and slip into a sweet state of relaxation.

The bedroom suites are out of this world and if you are used to tiny hotel rooms in London you’ll feel as you’ve been given a mansion for your stay! Guests can enjoy their own private jacuzzi – what better way to unwind after a busy day than slipping into the tub with a glass of champagne with your significant other or with a lady friend. You’ll feel like you have stepped into a James Bond movie when you discover the electric curtains. They slide back and a view of a mock Eiffel Tower greets you. Seriously – you won’t want to leave!

You’ll find plenty to see and do in the fabulous playground that is Las Vegas, but with a hotel this superb, you may not even want to go out!
