After much waiting, and a few cancellations, Bethesda has released a trailer for Prey, the non-sequel non-remake to the original game of the same name. The trailer consists of information from developer Arkane Studios about Prey’s story, gameplay and design.
According to the developer, the game is a hybrid; a mix of shooting, narrative, action and RPG elements. Players will use weapons alongside super powers when facing aliens for survival, which simulation and narrative playing an important role in the game. There isn’t a lot of actual gameplay in the video, but what they have shown leaves us very intrigued indeed.
It is due for release in 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4
