Winter Holiday Breaks

A few warm days does not make a summer. If you are still trying to shake off the winter blues and need to top up your vitamin D levels a healthy dose of sunshine could be just the ticket for you! Who wants to battle through the bitter winds of Britain when you can bathe on a sun kissed beach and soak up the local culture.

Or you might enjoy something a little different. Here are two wonderful locations that both offer different experiences.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s latest boutique hotel has recently opened in Tri Sri Lanka. The country is a simply magical place to visit. It’s stretching sands, beautiful mountains, high octane sports and wildlife in their natural habitat beckon you enticingly. This is a place where time is of no consequence and all you need to do is explore, relax and enjoy.

The new hotel is situated by Koggala, a beautiful natural lake and is focussed on wellbeing and Ayurveda. The cuisine is fresh prepared with wellness in mind and only natural, locally grown foods are used as ingredients.

The hilltop suites offer amazing views and this relaxing haven gives a sense of freedom that makes one feel truly alive.

Guests can enjoy many kinds of yoga classes with yogis who have practised the art of self mastery for many years. If you are travelling November to April you can even spot killer whales, blue whales and dolphins near Marissa.

This is a fantastic treat for anyone needing a lifestyle over haul or simply those who wish to escape the rat race and indulge their senses with stunning scenery and tranquil meditative moments.

Switzerland

Take a private jet and enjoy the wonders of the Beau Rivage suite for three days where you can enjoy spectacular views of the lake and take time out in the steam sauna. A helicoptor tour is included as well as a 12 course meal – if you can make it through that far! We salute you if you can get past 5 courses!

The piece de resistance is a unique signature cocktail finished off with a 1.2 carat diamond. Magnificente!

Badrutt’s Palace has been a popular haunt of many actors and celebrities over the years and past guests include Audrey Hepburn and Alfred Hitchcock.

Summer is still a good few months away so why not treat yourself to some R&R. Enjoy.
