Since Gal Gadot appeared as Wonder Woman in Dawn Of Justice social media’s been a buzzing with the masses eager to see more of the brunette bombshell. DC have been hard at work making this dream come to life and have recently released the trailer for Wonder Woman which debuts in 2017.
The story takes us back in time to when the Princess of the Amazons lived and underwent training to become an indestructible warrior. For those seeking some back story on this incredible superhero this DC movie should certainly fill in some of the gaps.
When a pilot crashes onto the island. the Princess learns of a catastrophic world war that is taking place. Princess Diana decided that this is a job for – Wonder Woman! She leaves her home on a mission to create peace and end the war.
The trailer drew us in instantly. Whilst it doesn’t seem as fast paced as DC’s former successes we sense that there is a lot of backstory being told here which will also also prepare the viewer for the 2017 release of DC’s Justice League we imagine.
Despite the serious tone and plot, Wonder Woman is not without a trace of humour to lighten the tone. Gadot seems ideal for this role. This is a character of intellect and strength that we can take seriously as a heroine…not to mention that she is an absolute babe!
It’s good to see another forthcoming DC film to tide us over till Justice League and to fill in parts of the puzzle that are missing.
