Xbox One S 1TB & 500GB release dates confirmed

Microsoft has now confirmed that the Xbox One S 1TB & 500GB models will be releasing on 23rd August, following previous news of the Xbox One S 2TB release on 2nd August. So far, only the 2TB model has been confirmed in the UK, whilst the smaller models are currently confirmed for US, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, with details for other regions being shared next month.

The 1TB currently costs £350 in the UK, with expectations for £300 and £250 for the 1TB and 500GB respectively. At present, there are 2 bundles to choose from, Madden NFL 17 with the 1TB model, and a Halo Collection bundle with either the 1TB or 500GB.

Hopefully the UK isn’t too far behind the 23rd August release date, unless you’re going for the biggest 2TB model which will ship at the same time as the US. Regardless of which you’re going to pick up, there is no denying the slick new design is a beautiful sight, and the increased technical performance, alongside better consistency, is a very welcome addition.
